I skipped 4th gen and got back with these two (playing all the games I missed after) and honestly would love to jizz over infinite TM's again.

Honestly I feel like the best has yet to come and am hoping for an extensive post game for whatever sequels we get for X/Y. If not then hopefully they'll come in gen 7.

Probably I would erase RS and play ORAS like it's new. I overplayed the fuck out of Hoenn but it's a great region, just disappointing how much of it I've already seen.

OR/AS or XY without any knowledge of Pokémon at all. Specifically I just want to see mega evolution as a game mechanic and not the blight that signified the downfall of the series for me.

I'm with this anon. I would have loved if I'd left myself 100% unspoiled for X like my gf had. I'd have loved discovering Zygarde by complete fucking accident. Finding out what Fennikin evolves into. Looking at every new mon along the way and going "wtf is that thing and how do I get it".

I skipped gen II, and I was amazed that it had more stuff to do post-game. Since I skipped Gen I I thought Red was Ash so I was still hyped.

I remember getting to Kanto in Gen 2 before my little brother and when I showed him that I had made it to Vermilion City he went ballistic and I don't think he put down his gameboy for a good two weeks until he finally caught up with my progress.

I'll never forget the rush of getting to fight Red for the first time, and using pokemon traded from Red to beat him.

I'd play silver for the first time again. In a heartbeat.
