it's slightly bulkier than Rotom-W on the Physical side, and even more so on the Special end, and has a vast array of powerful coverage moves. It puts in work as a revenge killer, stallbreaker, anti-lead, or even a win-con depending on the set. And I'm not kidding about the taking hits bit; Mega Aerodactyl is one of the few Pokemon to resist Flying, Fire, and Ground
and by "few" I mean "literally just it, Archeops, Rotom-H, and Rotom-W, which is pretty damn useful in today's OU. Having reliable recovery is huge, since it lets Mega Aerodactyl take full advantage of the defensive perks of its type combination.
It is also, and I cannot stress this enough, fast as fuck. Holy shitting titballs it's fast.
