>>21931199Female here. I'm pretty sure most girls do bi things, because it's not considered gay if we do things like share the same bed at a sleepover, or hug each other. Or you know, back in school, girls would travel in packs to the bathroom. FFS, we could probably hold hands and nobody would bat an eye. We just don't have that social pressure hanging over us with the "no homo" bit. So we generally don't think anything of it.
For Japan, I think there's some "schoolgirl lesbian" thing where it's acceptable when they're still in the education system, but they're expected to grow out of it upon graduation. Which, I suspect might have influenced these characters.
