I used pic related to win all the contests. The key is poke blocks. No one but Lisia has anywhere near the appeal you do at max. You should always win until master rank.

Talent stage is pretty easy it seems like once you fill the meter it doesn't matter how many more hearts you get it comes down to appeal. I liked to end every contest with D-bond it gave a ton of hearts and even if someone jammed I'd still get enough to finish filling the meter if I hadn't already.

The rarer the higher the chance the block will be +. Use all different colors with some strong ones and You'll probably get rainbow and +. Use rainbow blocks they are more efficient. I maxed out all stats on one poke with around 16-20 of them. It would have taken 5 times that if I hadn't used rainbow.

Different anon here, but I dominated all the Clever contests with Gardevoir. Calm Mind -> Stored Power -> Calm Mind -> Stored Power -> Destiny Bond almost always guarantees a win. You could add a filler move that's not Clever in order to avoid giving your opponents the 5th star.

Round because a lot of pokemon in beauty use normal type moves

I just finished Smartness with my Ludicolo 'Mambo'. He's now finished all 5 Master Rank Contests and hasn't lost a single round. Contests feel much easier than previous games, but I don't care because it just means I don't have to spend as much time doing them.

For starters, what everyone should know:

Make tons of rainbow Pokeblocks. Specific ones are nearly useless. No matter what contest you do, you will benefit more if every stat is maxed, not just the one for the contest.

Also, for Toughness, I used a combo of Dragon Tail and Rock Slide, it really carried me through smoothly. It's how I beat Lisia, in a Toughness contest she blows her load WAY too early with Earthquake and Giga Impact.

You plant berries, water them every so often, and check your AreaNav to see when they're ready to harves. Then you harvest them. Depends on the berry how long it takes, but you only really need to grow the five basic pokeblock berries, which take..I wanna say 12 hours? Not long.

JC the Skarmory has cleanly swept the Coolness contest all the way up to masters with Metal Claw, Aerial Ace, Air Cutter, and Double Team (can't speak for certain how effective Double Team is. Though it blocked being startled but doesn't seem to do so).

Maxxed his coolness with Pokeblocks and got the Red Scarf from the President of the Pokemon Fanclub in Slateport.

If your stat is maxxed, you have the right scarf on, and you have a move that has a boosted appeal when you go first then you can faceroll to win.
