There's also Costume Contests to consider and the PSS icons you get to select for example: Rich Boy can only be accessed by Brendan but Hex Maniac is only accessible by May.

I have a similar dilemma, except with name. I can not for the life of me figure out a name I'm satisfied with. I don't want my name to be my real life name, because when I look at Brendan, he doesn't look like somebody who'd have my name. When you beat May in a battle she does one of those "stretch so the man watching can see my boobs looking all big and nice" poses that women do, you get to see this in 3D as it is part of the battle animation segment.

You don't get to see this if you are playing as May so if you are a straight male or a lesbian you should pick Brendan as this will prove titillating.
