There's a cave to the southwest that you need Strength for; partway through it I found my rival and we battled. She came with Scyther/Geodude/Pidgeotto/Pikachu. Pumbloom learned Rollout, which coupled with Defense Curl turns it into a decently bulky mixed sweeper with Poisonpowder support. I wouldn't've expected it to be so good with 415 BST but it has a damn good movepool.
After getting out of Lit Cave I find myself in Gamboge Town -- "A Town of Sweet Delights."
An old man gives me a Big Stick that I think I need to use on Missingno. due to an NPC's hint earlier, and a post officer gives me a package to give to a professor, not knowing which one to give it to.
The Gym in this town is Electric, and features exclusive classes. If I ever make a hack I'm going to make sure I have heavy feedback on any and all custom sprites I make, by people who would know how to give good feedback.
The Gym is led by Kohen, who has Flaaffy/Flaaffy/Elekid/Electabuzz, Electabuzz being at Lv. 27. Upon beating him I'm given the Zapbadge and a TM for Thunderpunch.
