I'm trying so hard not to get my hopes up for the next game of the 6th gen. There are so many hints at a Detla Z Hoenn/Kalos crossover. But I just KNOW Gamefreak will either fuck it up or just plain not deliver.

Also, I stopped getting hyped for games. Then I know for sure I'll atleast be pleasantly surprised with what is delivered.

I remember starting back up with Pokemon with SS and Pearl (the latter was gifted to me and not much point in getting PT) and then BW came out and my hopes were smashed.

The one thing I am hoping for though is some sort of Wii U iteration, like another Snap or Col. That would be awesome.

What if we get Delta Z as the next game, combining both regions and having a story that continues both? There could be some integration with soaring, since you could consider z to be the up/down axis, and delta z would be your upward velocity?

This. I mean seriously, this is Gamefreak we're talking about. They've been playing the same note for years and still managed to botch the last two games. People keep hyping this shit up but the most we can expect them to do is put out a decent game, they're never going to blow us out of the water.

Realistically managing our expectations is the only thing that will stop us from turning into Sonic fans

I seriously think that ORAS might be it in terms of Gen 6.

IF you noticed, since Gen 3 , with each main game, you could contain every legendary (excluding events, and a few legends here and there)

but now with X,Y, OR, and AS, you can obtain every legendary from the legendary birds to the creation trio. Every non event legend.

I don't think Delta Emerald nor Z is happeing. I think Gamefreak is skipping a year and going to Gen 7 after that.

Well, the Dataminers discovered like 4 undiscovered locations last year in X/Y that still haven't been found in ORAS. That sort of implies GF is making another game in Gen 6.

I forget the specifics because it happened last year late at night and then people just sort of forgot about it, but someone changed the Pokemon Values in the code that made their summary show their eggs were hatched in these weird places. I think they even found values that proved Hoenn remakes were coming soon, but you know the usual shit posters drowned that out.

We will get two games next year and those will be the special versions for XY. It is already confirmed by the existence of Thousand Waves and Thousand Arrows which are both ground type attacks and belong to Zygarde.

MAYBE we will get a second region in the next games, but i wouldn't get too hyped. We are talking about Gamefreak.

That second region could be based on Germany since it is right next to France and that one train station leads exactly to where Germany would be. Also, Junichi Masuda and that ORAS guy have been in Germany (Frankfurth) a couple of months ago and they posted a lot of pictures on Twitter. Unless like their other trips to other countries, it did not seem like they were there to promote ORAS. It looked like they were on hollyday or something, getting inspiration for a new region maybe?

I just hope that at least GF will keep some features from ORAS like the dexnav and the pokedex. And also, since they hinted the shit out of Battle Frontier in ORAS, it has to be in the next games. Let's hope that GF won't fuck up the Battle Frontier.
