As long as it is a platinum remake and not dp. Dp is by far the worst Pokemon game for me, platinum was 100x better. The only reason I don't care for the games now is because the battling is so show and the battle graphics look like shit.

Hopefully in the remakes they explain Cyrus' motivations better, just like Team Magma and Aqua got better and more reasonable motivations (especially Magma).
Cyrus' motivations were so weird, even the translator was confused and needed to ask GF for clarification

Maybe the remakes could use the "alternate universe" thing and have Cyrus' goal to be to FIND the perfect world in the universe, one devoid of imperfections.
However, once he looks into the timestream and sees that no such world exists he goes crazy and decides to just destroy everything in the hopes that the next world will be better

I carry my 3DS with me at all times just in hope I'll pass someone and I've only passed a single fucking person.
And that was when I went to a big book fair in the capital city.
I even walked around some shitty gaming convention for a few hours.
The guy I passed didn't even have StreetPass activated properly.
I was only told I passed someone with Pokémon.

GF gave Glacia and Phoebe Froslass and Dusknoir, so I can see them changing Flint's team.
Volkner will probably be the only Gym Leader to get a different team, Ambipom and Octillery was stupid.
The Gen II and III remakes used expanded Pokedexes, so I can see the IV remakes using the Platinum Dex

As I'm already playing Platinum at the moment I don't really think it needs any improvement.

Cyrus goal is clear, all the other Plasma stuff is given reasons. I'd like for a final wierd ass Distortion World Cyrus boss fight maybe after the Elite 4

Maybe bonus content involving Arceus or a Charon trainer battle but not much else.

I'd worry they'd stick too close to Pearl and Diamond with team and mon placements when Platinum solved all their problems

It's a common fact that DP are mediocre games, but Platinum fixed them as if touched by God.

Honestly I think Cyrus is perfect already favorite team leader reagrding both design and personality, he's my. His design is flawless. His character is great and I love his little backstory from his grandmother. WHich reveals that he liked to be spend his time with machines instead of humans, was a young genious but still failed to live up to his parents' expectations. All of this was revealed in Patinum though and I'm going to be som mad if they cut that in DP remakes.
