I don't think it was them being lazy about the Battle Frontier, I want to think they just ran out of time and put those references in thinking people would like it. But that plus Frontier Brain theme being used by Chatelaines is kind of a kick in the balls.

I doubt they may pull DLC shit, but still there are some hints for it, and i dont mean those references in the game. ORAS guidebook was split in two, or something like that, i dont know exactly, but i know part 2 will come in 2015, anime special is in 2015 too, and we have that unreliable source from christiantoday about incoming dlc. I dont know man, i dont know.

I think the next game is going to incorporate both regions and that the BF will be in Hoenn after you beat both Kalos and Hoenn champs. Zeta Emerald or Emerald Z or something with the cover being both Zygarde and Rayquaza.

Thing aobu XY being incomplete is that they're suppsoed to be incomplete, where there IS going to be a third version of Kalos gamers there isn't going to be a Delta Emerald. They only really have one shot at it unless of course they put both regions in the next game.

Basically, the Battle Frontier is seven Battle Maison with separate gimmicks for each one. Battle Factory was for renting pokemon, Battle Tower was basically the Maison just in tower form, etc. Plus with tutors, battling at Maison actually has a purpose now. HGSS got Frontier because Platinum had it, it was only fitting the post-game battle facility was copy-pasted from the preceding game.

they need to make their trainers stronger, add a difficult mode and improve the shitty one liners. maybe they have no choice since it's a remake but some of the shit trainers say is copypasta of "You're so strong!" all the time. Say something new.

They're still trainers. With set levels, and a set team. Not to mention using pokemons AI. No one is difficult to take down. It doesn't matter how they balance the game. We don't know what the next game will be. Just because Nintendo trademarked some names, doesn't necessary mean it will be the name of the next game. I'm not fan of ''Delta Z'', ''Z'' and Delta Emerald. We don't even know what of game the future Pokemon game will be. There isn't even announcement for that.

Implying anything about a third game doesn't make sense.

All we know is that in the grand scheme of things it seems most likely we'll get an updated version of XY that mixes features together, and either offers one of the legendaries or changes the story a bit. This is how most gens except BW2 did it. So that's the status quo. That's what to expect by default.

Though of course with the way BW2 went we really can't be sure what they'll do this time. Saying you can know that information just makes you look silly.
