This is more of a bad marketing decision than an actual game flaw.

This is pretty fucking bad.

All things considered, they were still pretty good games, albeit with marks of laziness visible. These complaints are all minor in comparison to the missing Frontier, which is like a huge chunk of the postgame.

Remakes are fucking remakes OP, anything more than the original games is a plus. And remember, there was no BF in RS, or gym leader rematches or stuff, so in a way, GF got it right. You can't expect them to make the perfect game, because they would ruin their franchise that way.

This. I was expecting some Emerald-tier content. What I got was a straight remake of RS. Not that that's bad, but Emerald simply defined Gen 3 for me. Honestly, the worst thing about the game that I've found so far is the redesign of Mauville.

Because Mauville in ORAS just feels like they just wanted a place to shove all the specialty shops. That and "It's the biggest city in Hoenn", when in reality Lilycove is much larger, and more appropriate for what they were trying to do.

Unlike HG and SS, which both had the extra content from Crystal, OR and AS were both just Ruby and Sapphire.

And they did register a trademark for "Delta Emerald", so we may very well see that after a fashion.

But, I'd like to see something different. Black and White 2 were great in that they were sequels and not just enhanced versions. I'd like something in that vein again.
