Regarding stat distribution, I get the feeling Goodra was designed to be the ultimate Rain and Sun counter since weather teams were so absurdly powerful in the previous gen. They didnt take into consideration that reducing Drizzle/Drought to 5 turns would completely kill nearly all weather teams anyways, and now there is no need to run a dedicated weather counter anymore.
Goodra would be amazing if it was released in gen V, but alas, it wasnt. Maybe it will get the chance to shine another time.
