So... what was Zinnia's deal with the scientists' method of diverting the meteor. The way it tied in the original R/S/E as an Alternate Universe was BRILLIANT, but I have absolutely no idea how it's relevant. She said diverting it would cause a catastrophe, but it never was explained.
