>>21967844I personally don't have a problem just playing through the games without the exp share on, but I think it's completely legitimate to complain about it in a "they didn't balance the game properly" point of view, because it shouldn't be up the player to constantly toggle the thing on and off to balance it for them. Especially considering how the EXP share impacting how difficult the game is is something that happens over time as you gain EXP, as opposed to a true difficulty setting where it's like, "Oh no this fight is too hard, i'll lower the difficulty then".
The funny thing is is that they already have the tools to make an easy mode if they really wanted to, without needing to go back and adjust individual trainers to create a hard mode- just make the easy mode automatically give Amie bonuses. Wow, that was hard.
