Here. I can't even do a proper Nuzlocke run because I always forget to nickname my Pokemon. I never saw why I should've, anyway.

I nickname some when I can, but for other Pokemon I find myself at a loss and usually it's better off for them to just keep their regular names.

not even sure when that became a rule. the original nuzlocke comic doesn't use nicknames for half of its pokemon and the writer officially states "first pokemon per route" and "faint = death" as its only rules

I don't nickname a vast majority of my Pokemon, mostly because I'm an uncreative lump.

The best I've been able to come up with is appending the game version to the end of the Porygons I've been using as my starters in recent playthroughs. (Like Porygon-LG, Porygon-Pt, Porygon-W2, Porygon-AS, etc.)

I nickname my pokemon when i'm going through the story for the first time, afterwards i don't bother. i don't want nicknamed 'mons on my competitive team and it doesnt matter if its just pokedex filler

The only pokemon I've nicknamed in the last 15 years was my AS regice because you have to to summon regigigas.
