Do you have a Synch lead? Apparently Synchronize affects gift Pokemon now.

Yes, that's why I'm asking. I've led with a Sync Timid Ralts both times I tried. I'll give it a few more goes.

It was only a 50% chance of a Pokemon having the same nature. Now it's 100%.

Didn't know Synch affected gift Pokemon before this gen. I never really tried using it with a gift mon before, though.

Really? I SR'd for a decent Timid Latios and all 7/8 times I got the same nature. Afterwards I looked it up and read that the synch rate changed for legendaries.

OP here. Looks like Castform's nature is either locked or it's set before the boss fight.
