OP, just use u-turn, poison jab, drill run, and swords dance. Use it like a regular mega-Beedrill in most situations, but set up if you have a chance. Don't worry about giving the boosts away with u-turn. A +2 u-turn will either be a KO, or a case where you're going to be forced out, so u-turn would be a good choice in the latter case anyway.
I still prefer protect, but I guess I can see the appeal of SD. If you face a situation where you can deal >50% damage to multiple mons, but not OHKO damage, then you're leaving Beedrill hanging since it really cannot take hits. So say your opponent is saccing something that's weakened hoping to bring in fresh legs to take on Beedrill at full health. That would-be check now has to face a +2 Beedrill, and may no longer be able to survive.
Also, don't rely on your sceeens. They're not bad to have, but Beedrill still won't be able to take strong, let alone SE hits.
