How would /vp/ react to an all "post-game game?"

Main focus of the game would be like a battle frontier, but exponentially fleshed out, with dozens of facilities and twists on battles. It could also have a huge focus on online play with many more options for online battles. Outside this frontier there would be a battle resort area with breeding/IV checker/tutors/shops. They could add some minigame or recycle a minigame such as contests or pokathlon.

This comes at the cost of no campaign. Overworld is made much smaller with exploration maybe being limited to a few routes with megastones hidden amongst them. No wild pokemon, or trainers, and the only way to train up pokemon would be through restaurants or something. Pokemon would either be transferred in or some kind of rental system. Plot would be kept to a minimum, at most maybe you'd have a rival and some cutscenes with facility brains that give you "badges" for winning.
