Ruby and Sapphire was to begin with, a great game that needed a bit more polish and better execution on the rivals. It also got an unfair amount of flack from Johtofags as the fad was dying around the time of it's release.

I see ORAS as just the fulfillment of what was already great.

I agree wholeheartedly. Lots of people are shitting on ORAS for no battle frontier and a lack of postgame (which I agree with) but I feel like people really miss how great the ingame is. They did a fantastic fucking job. The music is great, all the extra details and shit added just make it so fucking great to play through.

It's the first Pokemon game that I've considered buying the other version just to play through it again.
