Never used a Mega Steelix a day in my life OP, so instead I'll recommend a moveset that I use on my Mega Aggron that'll kind of work out for you.

EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Dragon Tail
- Heavy Slam
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Dragon Tail to prevent your opponent from setting up and Heavy Slam for primary non-resisted damage with decent BP, for the most part. I don't know how it'll work out for Mega Steelix since Mega Aggron has the ability Filter.
