It really makes you question how they themselves felt on the trip. I mean, even people who don't look good most of the time realize they're ugly, and have the same standards as people who are more attractive. Yeah, it's a shitty lose-lose, but it can't be helped. Sure there are probably some real autists on that trip, but there are also probably some honest people who just like pokemon and want to meet new people without sperging out. There may be those embarrassing moments and embarrassing things like group photos or silly activities, but without knowing all that happens, it's hard to say whether they honestly had fun or if they were on a hellride.
Do people who lose themselves in it (what's commonly referred to here as autism) have more fun? Do they enjoy life more? Yes it may be a little harder to please them, but if they're delusional then it doesn't matter, because they can just pretend everything is to their ideal anyway.
So really, is it better to live in a reality where we shun those who just try to have fun, or to live a delusional existence in which everything can be made fun?
