Yes.

The base Pokemon is what's being used. The Mega is essentially an item.

So Sableye/Sableite are OU, and Mawile is going down to UU due to Mawilite being banned.

Ghosts don't counter shadow tag because they can't switch in, and there's really only one or two good ghosts in UU to begin with. Cause the whole no switching thing, Gothorita (not Gothitelle, that was banned before STag as a whole was banned,) this 390 mono-psychic shitmon, was able to take out so many defensive pokemon. It's just too good an ability.

1.72% usage is quite low to begin with

Mega Gardevoir and Heracross still rape stall cause SD Heracross still doesn't really have any counters beyond Acrobatics Gliscor (Altaria is a very good check though but most stall uses Sableye) and is ones of few physical attackers able to rip through Slowbro, and Gardevoir is a special wallbreaker able to get past Chansey and Mega Sableye quite easily, plus Jirachi is pretty much the only thing Stall can use that's able to handle Gardevoir+Magnezone.

tl;dr Stall is legitimately hard to break so the really powerful but not fast/bulky/priority-having megas can still have a place.

RIP mega cham though. I'm astonished it didn't drop.

Offensive druddigon is reatarded anyway and people always use the suicide choice band set. For fucks sake it's a dragon type with stealth rocks and godly offensive stats. You are supposed to abuse it's resistances for lolz. Jesus christ smogon is stupid. I know no one will believe me but in Gen 5 I ran train with druddigon quickly up the ladder. I had like a 90/0 battle streak with a hazard stacking team and druddigon was the spotlight because of rough skin and dragon tail.

Then again maybe the dragons are too strong for NU.

They've talked about it in the RU general talk threads and there's basically no way it would be balanced in RU. Between the dozen or so good sets it would have (Specs Swift Swim, Band Swift Swim, LO Rain Dance, LO DD ChestoRest DD, etc.) there's really not a lot able to stop it.

-All of its sets are really powerful and you get a sort of "mega-lucario" kind of effect where counters to one set straight up lose to others. Specs Swift Swim, with the support of Uxie or something, is alone really hard to handle. Slowking could handle it, but Slowking is 2HKOed by banded outrage and is set-up fodder for DD sets.
-It's very bulky for something so powerful. Pretty much everything that can take on the Rain Sweeper sets are set-up fodder for Dragon Dance sets because it has the bulk to set-up more than a few times.
-It basically has no weaknesses; there's no good fairies, or things that use fairy moves, in RU except Slurpuff who probably can't take a Water STAB anyway, and any dragon that's slower that tries to take it on is obviously not winning. It's also not weak to any priority moves

tl;dr it kills everything by being powerful, bulky and unpredictable
