lots of berries traded over from my X file via Local Wireless
they can eat an infinite amount of Pokéblocks, so you can raise your stats to the max as many times as you want as long as you have Pokéblocks.

Used Shuppet and Duskull with Spite/Curse/Destiny bond/Feint attack to win all contests the second and third times just for the glass ornament. Lead with Feint attack then use curse/spite till move 5 and end with DBond for an easy win. Max out appeal with Rainbow+ pokeblocks and correct scarf. I'm going to try to get a shiny Milotic for Beauty.

You have to mix 4 different kinds of "good" berries of different types. It'll produce a super rainbow pokeblock or something like that. "Good" berries are pretty much the EV berries, and above.

Is there a guide or something to these? I heard they can be pretty frustrating so I want to go in with some knowledge rather than blindly doing trial and error.

going to be honest, all I did was use single colored Pokéblocks and maxed out each stat individually. I believe the rainbow block method is more efficient but I don't know recipes. As someone said earlier, the berries used for EV training are good and there are also some specific berries in the game that can be mixed for great Pokéblocks.

The game tells you the corresponding color that each berry falls under, so picking them to mix into single colored Pokéblocks isn't difficult.

To make a pokeblock of a specific color just use berries of that color. I don't know what mixing 2-3 different colors will do but I'd assume it'll make the color of the strongest berry used. For rainbow pokeblocks, mix 4 berries of all different colors. If the berries are strong they have a chance to make rainbow+ blocks which give a much larger boost than just rainbow.

here's a pokeblock guide.

To get 4 rainbow+ just use on of 4 colors in the 'always gives pokeblock+' chart in the video.

You have to change your mon's movesets to be more suited for the type of contest you want to enter. You can't just look at what you have and be like "well since it doesn't know any clever moves i guess i cant do clever". When you can, you just have to be willing to change your moves.

I still have not focused on contests, but when I do, it'll probably be with the team of my favorite ones. Sylveon for cuteness, Milotic for beauty, Mawile and Lopunny for Coolness and Toughness... I just don't know who of these two I will fit where.

About toughtness, I have no idea about who to use... Maybe a Shiny Nidoqueen?

I havent done contested yet and cant remember from RSE but can anyone tell me if ribbons stay in order that you win them or if they change order to stay together and look nice and organized?

I want the ribbons to look organized because muh autism so I'll have to win them in a specific order if they just stay in the order you get them.
Im going to try and win all the contests with the Plusle i used in game. I dont think Plusle has great moves in tough or clever though

Man no. You needed to start with something from Colo or Gale of Darkness, move to RSE get all contest ribbons and the E4 Ribbon, then move to FRLG to get that E4 ribbon, THEN move up to gen 4 and get those E4 ribbons and so on.

I mean, I assumed this was an in-game thing so not like he needs some super powerful 'mon to help
delcatty learns both wish and heal bell so being a cleric is an option if anon wants to breed and get BP for the move tutor thing
doesn't have the bulk to live through many attacks but playing through the story should be fine

I don't have colosseum nor gale of darkness
Also i've had that pokemon for like 7 or 8 years now
Back then i had no idea you could trade between emulators so i think the one from FRLG is not an option now

Also my emerald's battery died so i can't get the blender master to appear in Lilicove so i could start with a new pokemon

I take it the ones at the top of the contest hall show the last pokemon that won master rank for each category; do the ones in the museum show the last three?

Just completed all Master Rank Contests with my Lilligant today. Tough was the hardest category since Lilligant is limited to only two Tough moves, Seed Bomb and Giga Impact. Her perfect Stats helped though, and she managed a win. Now she has her little contest sparkle when she goes into battle. She is so perf.

I use five different movesets... Tough was hard for Vivillon but I managed to win. I've found that getting a lot of appeal with the stats usually is key to winning while if something doesn't go right during the contest, my place in first isn't jeopardized.

Alright, I got a master ribbon on my diancie in AS and banked her over to X, checked, and then banked back to AS.

In X she didn't show any contest related ribbons at all, and in AS she retained her ribbons normally.

Safe to transfer back and forth without losing your contest stuffs.

What's the point of boosters or whatever the moves with meh hearts that will give you more heart on the next move if they make sense (hypnosis + dream eater for example)?
I mean, with that combo I get like 2+4 hearts while I can just get 4+4 hearts with some non combo moves without risks, am I doing something wrong?

some combos are really blegh, but it just depends... like Double Team + Acrobatics has a good pay-off as does Rain Dance + Hurriance, but there are some combos that are best left to the lower ranked contests.
