Any ideas? I have an EV traines walrein already. Just need 5 more.

Don't try to focus on hail as it will kill you unless you're planning on abusing evasion with hail.

Abomasnow is mandatory. Rotom fridge would be good for type coverage. Cloyster would probably be your best water/ice choice. Regice if you're okay with trio legendaries.

Forgot Frost Rotom which lets you deal with water types and others depending on moveset/HP
With ice monotype expect to kill or be killed quickly.
Also run a delibird for the sake of running a delibird with hail. It's got a pretty interesting moveset but bad stats.

Two 4X weaknesses and hail barely adds anything except for 100% accurate blizzards. Singles Abomasnow is useless tier but in doubles Abomasnow shines with 100% accurate blizzards.
Ice type shines in doubles(Like electric types).

Walrein is shit now Weather is nerfed, stallrein was his only viable set.

Cloyster is good, Froslass, Kyruem-B, Mamoswine, Weavile.

Delibird has really bad stats(along with hard to get moves). It needs support and possibly baton pass. If you really wanted to, Blizzard, Gunk shot, seed bomb and present for the sake of running present. If you can get 3 kills with delibird, you're pretty lucky/skilled. If you sweep a whole team(with minimal baton passes), you're my hero.

Mamoswine is pretty solid even when you're not running ice type teams. Put a sash or scarf on it and you'll probably deal with 1 or 2 pokemon.(Treat it like a breloom without the spore, once you know what you can switch in with it's pretty useful)

Final tip to you OP, talonflame. It deals with priority steel and fighting types (bullet punch and mach punch) that ice types hate.

Bruh there's like two good ice types competitively.
Kyurem-B, Mamoswine
Weavile and cloyster are good but frail.
Also a mono ice team loses to talonflame and shit with mach punch.

Just because ice type is bad, doesn't mean it should be shunned to death. There are some cool things you can do. (Snowcloak froslass is fun in Anythingoes)

Not him, but facing and using are two different things.

The only reason gf would giving him such a high defense is because of his typing, so it's a blessing in disguise. Typing is really only useful for counters and switch-ins anyway - the opponent will always switch with something neutral at least.

Not to mention STAB avalanche.
