Hello. In order to retain the feel of the original game, we at Gamefreak, have decided to limit following Pokemon to Pikachu only. In addition, the Pokemon Amie feature will only work with your starting Pikachu. Pikachu received from other methods will not be compatible with Pokemon Amie.
