Something I just noticed. Midnight passed and flags respawned. I had kicked out my secret pals in hopes they'd give me more flags if I reinvited them again after midnight. It didn't happen. Anybody had a similar experience?

After 500 flags you get the Mood Lighting item which lets you taint your entire base a color of your choice. You also get the option to take a picture with your whole secret base team whenever you want at the secret base HQ.

Completely changed my base up recently. I was originally going for a secret cult vibe and I'd still like to do it eventually, but for now I have kind of a museum/antique shop theme going on.

You'll need Rock Smash to enter. Fastest way to get to it is to fly to the Meteor Falls fly point, head east up the stairs and cross the giant crater, down the stairs to the southeast, then north until you see a base hidden behind three smashable rocks.

The layout itself is probably one of the worst, one has to do what he can to make it look nice. A café/cafeteria/bar is usually the best option to make it look nice. Route 113 is simply too comfy so that's the preferred place for that layout. Look at mine, for example: >>22008591

You have two options, either use the PC in your secret base, save a QR code in your 3DS and pass the image from the SD card to your computer (posting from 3DS browser also works) or sync your game, go to PGL, profile and super secret bases.

That makes no sense. Blocking off point A while still in point A keeps you from getting to B. When he saves he'll still be in A and if he quit the game before he saved it'll just revert back to the previous file. It obviously a glitch because no one else has complained about it.

Hoopa (and I'm sure Volcanion also) doesn't show up in base battles. You just get whatever other two Pokemon were in the top three of that person's party.
So, what happens if you ONLY have Hoopa when you make the QR or sync with Buzznav? And what does your Secret Base status screen on the Pokemon GL look like?

I've posted my QR around A LOT in these threads but I think I've finally decided on a permanent place. Who says you can't have layout AND location?
Next to the waterfall by the weather institute.

Is the mood lighting too much? I kinda like the blue and the green, purple seems too dark.

Wanted to ask, from what I've gathered of actually reading this thread, I'm supposed to scan or only really visit Silver and above flag secret bases, but is it fine if I just scan a bunch of silver flags, add them as Pals, receive flags, then remove them as pals, and just do this with the same people every day?

I don't see the point in downloading a new 30 every day through BuzzNav.

I think with Scanning you don't get flags at all when adding them as pals, and you have to wait a day for their flag to spawn.
Also adding, taking flags, and kicking them out won't give you flags from them if you do that repeatedly. I did that for a while and nothing happened, and the past few flags I DID get were from basic ranks that gave my only 7 or 8 flags.
I think the pals have to stay in your base till the next day to give you flags again, and even then I think they may only give them the first time, at least from my experience.
Maybe I just have shit luck

Scan anyone you want when using QR codes, it doesn't matter. Flag racism only comes from streetpassed bases. People with green flags can give you little to no flags where as silver and higher give you ten+ flags. Inviting QR'd base people don't give you flags, although you can still take the one from their base (after midnight).
