When I first got pokemon, I was untreated for my my severe OCD. I was absolutely paranoid about my starter, Charmander, fainting. I recall beating Koga, but I was poisoned. I frantically spent over an hour desperately trying to get to the pokemon center without my Charmeleon fainting because it was just as bad as death to me.
I also turned the game off before my Charizard fainted in a link battle because I was so terrified of it. Thank God for medication; I do not want to relive that hell again.
Unrelated, but I also owned a shirt that said "I want you to be my master, Anon!" that my mom used an iron or something to put on a t-shirt. It was a picture of vulpix, and I didn't understand why my friends a few years later got a huge laugh at it.
>>22000266You can always ask your friends just to trade it to you as an egg. That way, you're not only the OT but you can always change the nickname.
Back in Gen 3, I use to close my eyes and randomly press buttons until I had few letters and then added some other letters to end in a nice sound that way. It didn't really work well in Gen 4+ for whatever reason. Letter placement, maybe? I spend a lot of time nicknaming stuff to though. I primarily use
20000-names.com and come up with obscure nicknames which I often forget the real meaning of until I'm on that site looking through one of the special categories again.
