Do you think they will re-release the gen 1 & 2 games on eShop or as retail?
Think about it, most Gold/Silver/Crystal cartridges ran out of battery, so it's impossible to play these games unless on an emulator (or replacing the batteries, but fuck that). They have to make an official way to play these games again.
I'd love to see a "Classic Collection" that features Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal all in 1 game. When starting it up, you'd be prompted with all 6 game covers, pick one and it starts that game. Each 6 games have their own seperate save files like normally.
This doesn't seem farfetched at all considering they released the GBC TCG game on eShop.
>why would they do that?
For new people who have never played the originals, they can experience them and see where it all started.
Aswell as for nostalgiafags like me. I prefer the classics over the remakes.
