Well, it helped them alot, they didnt have to make BF, additional rematches with gym leaders, and other shit.

ORAS was a good remake of RS, but a bad remake of 3rd gen.

They already had to include 3 generations worth of "patching", why would they go out of their way to pander to something that was simply Gen 3 fanservice? All of the stuff Emerald fixed was in the later games as well.

The entire fucking game is supposed to be gen 3 fanservice. That's part of the point of them doing remakes in the first place.

Well, it helped them alot, but they copied Platinum BF, shitty rematches with gym leaders, and other shit.

HGSS was a good remake of GS, but a bad remake of 2nd gen.

What's the point of having them on the AreaNav?
Got my hopes up when I saw Roxanne on it.

At least there's NPC Rematches althought not alot and Gym Leaders would've been so much better.

It's because it's a RS remake. The Gym Leaders were on the so-called Trainer's Eyes as well, eventhough you could never rebattle them.

Well that explains it. I had Emerald not Ruby or Sapphire.

They wanted to faithfully remake RS to a point where they didn't include features that made Emerald so much better. All that's somewhat related to Emerald is Episode Delta and that's only because Rayquaza is in it,

Well, it helped them a lot, they didn't have to make Jesse and James, the ability to get all starters, and other shit.

FRLG was a good remake of RGB, but a bad 3rd gen remake.

Besides, a lot of people's major complaint isn't neccessarily the Emerald content missing, it's that even Ruby and Sapphire have a better engine than Gen 6 as a whole.

Although this makes Delta Emerald so pointless, we should just get some sort of DLC and get another kalos game.
