ITT: moves which are godly in game but useless in competitive.

I know Rock Tomb has its uses, like on Breloom to make up for Low Sweep, but there is not a lot of reason to use it in competitive. Early-game it is one of the best attacks you could get. Also:
>Revenge: Can deal a truckload of damage
>Sweet Scent: Obvious reason
>Any Hyper Beam variant: Use to land a finishing blow and switch out when prompted

All perfect accuracy moves are beast in story mode. Also, on the opposite side, powerful moves with low PP that are very popular competitively absolutely suck in story. My swampert and castform always run out of PP.

Not always. If you're using a priority move as well, and you're faster than the prankster you'll go first.

But it's not like that Mach/Bullet Punch is going to do anything to a Klefki anyway.

I use rock tomb on some sets where i know i can exploit it to outspeed. It's pretty good on landorus-t since he can drop attack too.

This. I think GF should bump up wing attack's bp to at least 70 to differentiate it from aerial ace. As it is, it's just aerial ace with more pp and without the guaranteed accuracy

Not a move, but guts became very abusable with poison no longer doing damage in the overworld.

Also honorable mention to toxic, because toxic stall, while being incredibly tedious and boring, can beat just about any AI opponent if you have a bulky pokemon or two that isn't 4X weak to theirs. That said, fuck full restores

Flame Charge gets my honorable say, hitting for a decent amount of damage and gaining a free +1 speed was pretty useful good. Sounds cool too.
Also Fury Cutter for building up power, Embargo for stopping opponents from freely healing up whenever they felt like it and Secret Power for the fun random hax it brings
