So what you're saying is that if gf locked contests/bases till after the E4, ORAS would have a fantastic postgame?

Either that, or accept that the extended 'ingame' content makes up for the for the lack of a postgame.

You're missing the point. OP is saying that ORAS has a lot of optional content, it's just that most of it is available whenever. Whether the optional content is accessed during the main game or post-game shouldn't matter, all that should matter is the volume of content.
