>>22009828Not OP, but a huge Magmafag, so why not?
>Extreme pressure underwaterThe suit was built to interact with Kyogre. I don't know about you, but to me that seems like a needless investment of millions of dollars poured into what could be remedied with a goddamn submarine, that, surprisingly enough, they already stole. Or planned on stealing, anyway. The real reason the suits exist is for the Delta Episode, obviously enough, it's one of those convenient 'durr how good for me' piece togethers gamefreak loves so much.
>Smooth Creature in a volcanoYou must not have payed attention to the plot. It wasn't a volcano, it was Origin cave. Molten magma poured around it, but still. Air pressure and gravity would be no different than the origin cave Aqua was in. Even so, to my knowledge you're not even underwater the whole time. You could have slipped and sunk to the bottom of the water easily. And it barely gets any more rugged than a ground type by the name of Groudon. Even if he were as smooth as Admin Courtney's ass, if the protag slid off, the slope of his tail would have caught him. Furthermore, it's easier to grip against gravity than it is to grip against the featureless top of a spherical slippery sardine.
>Do you think they already came pretrained? No need to argue this point as we both know this was just to keep people in Lilycove before Aqua/Magma dispersed. Nothing more logical than that.
>Implying Team Aqua was exclusively Mediteranian-spanned yar har a pirate's life for me eraThey have an underwater base loaded with technology, manage to incorporate various televisions, a masterball as advanced as Pokeballs come, and so fourth into their base, and tubes for water to run through. I highly doubt a submarine would be becoming of them. But, like I said, plot consistency.
Most of the bullshit on Magma AND Aqua's side stems from the need for MUH CONSISTENCY BETWEEN TWO PKMN VIRGINS.
