She was trying to awaken and ancient monster to summon the guardian to fight a greater danger, such guardian was weakened, rendering him useless.
After that, she took things personal, "everybody is stupid, I'm doing this my way" without stopping to explain, the player and Steven knew a little about portals because the Latwins, and if they were in her side, a lot of other people would be in her side too. If she would explain things, Cozmo would think about it, remember the cutscenes, he was collected and calm about the situation, trying to get all the possible scenarios and how to act in response. He would understand, Steven would understand, even fucking Archie/Maxie would understand.
I'm talking about how the story were handled, not the story itself. The character was made to be right regardless of her actions, and to make the player almost a mesiah.
I'd understand if you don't agree, though, since how she made the things it's up to the eyes of the beholder.
