My team used to be mostly glass cannons and I almost got wiped out by Norman.

My team back then was Electrode, Zangoose, Crobat and Marshtomp. I threw in a Rhyhorn and Chimecho befoe heading to the Magma HQ.

I've been wanting to try Altaria since I saw it in RSE days, but never got around to it until now, when the mega was revealed and finally pushed me to actually use it. I love it. It's become my sis.
The last two slots in my party are just HM mons at the moment but I want to (eventually) replace them with two other mons. I got an Adamant event Beldum so I'm thinking of using it. Only thing that bugs me about it is that I can't nickname it.

Just made it to the Weather Institute. I've used Ludicolo in previous Sapphire runs and I used a Gardevoir in my X playthrough before, but the other 4 I'm using for the first time. I'm most likely going to pick up a Heracross because I always pick one up when I can. I might just swap out the Gardevoir for it or something.

Catching and training every pokemon as I go along, giving me a team of like 20 pokemon at any given time. When they evolve I put them in the box basically for good, but any particularly outstanding mon stays on my large "team" and I keep levelling them alongside the rest of my bros. With EXP Share turned on I actually stay just a few levels behind the average trainer level in the area, making each battle a bit of a challenge and even gym leaders a challenge despite always being able to make a full team with type advantages.
It's so much fun, I'll never play storyline pokemon another way after this.
