Now everyone and their grandmother have boxes full of 6IV shinies because GF decided to water everything down. It doesn't feel as rewarding having it all shoved in your lap to begin with.
I think things would have been better if the destiny knot only allowed 4 IVs to be passed down, legendaries only had two guaranteed 31s and if the shiny encounter rate hadn't been raised.
Either that, or make some other factor for Pokemon individuality and rarity, like alternative shiny palettes or something.

How do you guys feel about hacked pokeballs? Over wonder trade and GTS I've been seeing a lot of pokemon in illegal balls, but they're deemed legit because of rebreeding and they get passed down. Would you keep breeding if a pokemon was in a really cool ball or toss it?

The reason Pokeballs aren't used to determine the legality of a Pokemon is because you can't control them being passed down if you have a female in a particular ball.
Nintendo/Gamefreak would have thousands of little shits around the world screaming their heads off because their Heavy Ball mega Charizard couldn't be used online.
