Sure, HGSS might be better than ORAS, and ORAS is superior to XY in just about every single possible way, but if you like to play pokemon the you should consider getting it, especially if you liked XY.
It's got secret bases, which are a lot of fun.
The story line is improved upon from RSE.
The post game is alright, better than XY.
You can get a lot of legendary pokemon in this game alone.
If you play online, this game has move tutors.
Some of the new mega pokemon are pretty nifty.
Soaring around on Lati@s is what every child wanted Fly to be, and this game has it, too.
As far as pokemon games go, this one's pretty decent. Doesn't beat out HG/SS is my (and probably a lot of other people's) books, but it's a damn good game.
