Yes, as long as the ORAS pokemon are not holding any ORAS only items (contest scarves, mega stones) or know any ORAS only moves (dragon ascent, precipice blades).

The mega stone is given to you when you first enter a pokécenter after receiving diancie, regardless on how you received it. If you're inside it when you receive it you just have to walk out and back in.

That's literally essentially perfect. The only way you'll get better than that without wasting like four times as much time as you already have is with a powersave.

The almost minimum attack IV is what seals it.

It's an in-game team, no.

Just roll with what you get, resetting your starter or capturing a single mon repeatedly for IVs/nature is retarded since it doesn't matter against NPCs.

The first time I went to the nameless cavern tonight I found a Uxie. I had saved right before looking into the portal and realized I had forgotten to pokebank over one of my synchronizers so I reset, brought the bold natured synchronizer over, restarted the game, went to a pc to pick it up, went back, and now the only thing I can find is Azelf. I used pokebank again, left he cavern and flown back several times like I did the first time, but I can only find Azelf. What did I do to fuck this up? I just want to soft reset for uxie.

Run him in doubles, with Rain support. Later sweeper, or baton pass to him and let him go nuts.

Word of advice, though: He will always feel frail as fuck, and mostly feel like he doesn't hurt as much as he does.

Right under the section with the lake trio. I'm sure the times aren't 100% perfect, but it's pretty much confirmed that they cycle based on the time of day.

Counters always have the advantage over the opponent when switching in, and aren't afraid of anything the opponent can do to it on the turn you manually switch it in.

It could be for one of two reasons.
1. Your golurk has no guard

Also unfortunately but you cannot use them the day you scan them, you have to wait a day.

Earthquake. It has really good coverage with fairy, since it tajes care of a lot of steel/poison/fire types that can take reurn. Alternatively, you can use dragon dance, since boosting a physical fairy move is always a good thing.

If you're going for a physical attacker, give it
DragonDance/Roost/Return or Facade or Double Edge/Earthquake

If you want a bulky cleric:
Roost/cottonGuard/heal-Bell/Return

If you want a special attacker:
Roost/HyperVoice/FireBlast/IceBeam

Its movepool is very varied and it all depends on what format are you using it in, and what role you wish it to perform...

Yeah, they gave poison types a really minor buff in gen 6, where if a poison type uses toxic, it ignores accuracy checks and can also hit pokemon in the invulnerable state of fly/dive/dig

How can I complete my team for (sort of) competitive battles?
So far I've got crobat, mega sableye, and scrafty.

I spent a whole day trying to get a Plusle.
- Two-star minimum
- Male
- Lightning Rod
- Fake Tears or Wish
Those were the conditions I wanted. I eventually settled for a three-star male Lightning Rod with Sing. Gah.

Absol put me through the wringer too, and I just gave up on Trapinch and Cacnea because of their warping shit.

Did people ever figure out of raising your search level on the DexNav results in higher chance of finding Pokemon with higher potential when searching?

And now, for some breeding. Say, if I want to breed a Pokemon in the Water 1 Egg Group and use a different species as the father (easier to get good IVs on it than finding a good Ditto, basically), if my mother already knows an Egg Move I wanted the offspring to have, will it get passed down?

For the first one, I think so. For shits and giggles, I worked my Zorua encounter number up to over 100. I encountered my first 3IV Zorua somewhere in the 50 range, and between there and when I finally stopped, I encountered 7 total.

You have to do the contests. Compete in a contest then you'll be given Pikachu after you finish. You don't have to win. It will assume the costume that your PC is wearing, but you can change it anytime by going into the dressing room and talking to the NPC there.

It's just a flat 10% chance to generate an item after a battle finishes. Using said mon in battle or encountering more pokemon in a single battle doesn't effect it.

Note: it GENERATES an item it doesn't actually 'pick one up' so there's the logic

You mean how do you erase your file?

On the title screen (with Groudon/Kyogre) hit up+B+X at the same time and it should bring you to a screen asking if you want to delete saved data.

If you mean soft reset, just hit the home button and then X to close the software and start it again.

I'd run the hasty set just because shiftry's defenses are on the low end and the speed is about mid range, meaning you will most likely not be able to dance and get a hit off on the adamant set.

Of course though it depends on how it's fitting in on your team.

Presumably the only legendaries that are shiny locked are Goudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, and Deoxys.

Keep in mind that these pokémon shinyfied via powersaves are tradeable but presumably only because they are available shiny in the past. GF's hack checks suck shit and only block things that are 100% illegal like shiny Xerneas and Yveltal who have never been available shiny ever at this point.

I caught mine on route 117, but 102 works too. Just be sure to be in the ponds before seeking, because using surf will startle them nearly everytime.
If the dex won't chain, try standing at the edge of the pond before seeking.

I ran some calcs comparing the neverending Curselax set to Vigoroth's standard.

Snorlax has massive HP; with Eviolite Vigoroth gets greater defense and sp. def, but only exceeds Snorlax in total physical durability by a small amount and gets blown out in total special durability. The attack stat difference is about 25% in Snorlax's favor too. Even more, he has Thick Fat resisting attacks and making his typing not shit.

There are plus sides; Vigoroth's 80 speed, though uninvested, will get the drop on a lot more things than Snorlax's rock-bottom sluggishness, and it can Taunt, enabling it to Slack Off instead of Rest without being too afraid of status from slow wallish things. Snorlax is better but Vigoroth narrowly avoids the 'outclassed' label. Sometimes you can justify Vigoroth over it.

Actually probably much harder than Gen 3's. It has aqua ring and a lower catch rate due to becoming a mega. Regular Kyogre's catch rate is 5, Primal Kyogre's catch rate is 3.
