Pretty sure most electrical type pokemon tend to be an energy drain, due to often being found absorbing household electricity.

I'd go with bulbasaur. The only issue I could really see raising one is that by the time it becomes a venusaur, it'd be pretty large. But food bills should be low, if it is allowed to sit outside in the sun. I don't particularly see the -saur line as being aggressive, or in danger of burning or flood the living space, or becoming an electrical drain. Though, I'd have to train it to not release spores, as it may exacerbate my allergies.

I'd want just a standard Porygon or Porygon2. They never really elaborate how strong or even solid the Porygon line is, but I'd imagine they'd be extremely useful both for physical tasks and for solving digital problems.

Originally I would've also said they'd be low-maintenance since they don't need to eat, but apparently they do eat according to Amie. I wish GF would do more with them; Porygon is my favorite Pokemon and yet I know so little about it.

I live in Las Vegas and I can't think of a better climate for a Pokemon than my bro Scrafty. A gangster's playground in the middle of the Mojave desert? Scraggys and Scraftys would become a stereotype that everyone here has one.

I could definitely see it becoming a problematic pet though. Highly aggressive, spits acid, can kick through concrete, and will attack if you just look it in the eye? On second thought, I probably wouldn't choose Scrafty.
