So after playing through and seeing how crazy and fun Magma was, I said to my brother who has Sapphire "let me know when you meet Matt or Shelly" and he did, he told me "Yeh I've got Shelly here" so I came over and read her dialogue. It was nothing. Just like actually nothing. "Grr get out of our way. I can't believe I lost to you. Team Aqua is strong. Grr." Just nothing. And Archie is obnoxious. So they have maybe, maybe, Matt and that's it. Against Magma's Tabitha, Courtney, and Maxie.
And that on top of a garbage plan. There's just no appeal to Aqua at all outside of simple shallow outfit design, which isn't as good as Magma anyways. Bit frustrating really, that they couldn't put any effort into Aqua at all, give me a choice and a bit of stress on deciding. It would have been more fun.
