Yes, BW and BW2 were programmed with the 3DS in mind and have extra compatibility the other DS games lack of.

The Pal Park is just tedious. Throwing 100% success rate balls at Pokemon really makes you wonder why you're doing this in the first place. Bonus points for at least being able to transfer items, however

That BW mini-game is ok I guess and there's no limited usage like in DP, but say good-bye to your items

Now we have Pokebank, which could have been the best option thus far except it fucking doesn't accept items once again

For the most part you are correct, but I have two problems with this:

1. Getting back items that I have already obtained for no particular reason feels cheap and redundant

2. A few select items are an absolute pain to get again. The custap berry for example. I still don't know how the light ball in BW is supposed to be gotten.
And then, there's the Starf Berry which I won fair and square in both Emerald and BW. Now they're telling me I need to win 200 times in the Maison again even though I have proven twice I deserve this thing?
I know the Starf Berry is situational garbage, but it's the principle that annoys me

It was a nice concept but really wasn't that great. Being able to transfer mons (as well as their items) on 1 console was nice, but having to actually catch them when the rate was 100% anyway was pointless.
