Crobat was my bro in gen 3, but a kinda unexpected bro. I had seen Latias fucking around running away while I was playing, but having had experience in chasing after roaming pokemon I decided to cut the bullshit and caught a golbat in Victory Road with the plan to level it up to first learn mean look to trap her, and then more so to make it outspeed Latias.
So, in the process I was hunting down Latias and level up as I went, and upon leveling up to er...level 49 or something, it evolved. I was so surprised, that this pokemon that I'd only caught to catch Latias had raised its happiness so much to evolve into Crobat.
And so Crobat became my bro.
I’m in the middle of breeding two sets, since I got hold of a zubat with giga drain, and I have the regular brave bird and stuff on another zubat.
