Green was my favorite color, and Venusaur was my favorite of the evolved starters (though I liked all of them), yet I could never find the Pokémon Green Version I always wanted. All they ever had was Red, Blue and Yellow.

You have three starters, and a game for two of them. Why did we never get one for Venusaur?

This was before the internet (the internet was around, but I didn't have any access to it), so all I had to go off were what I saw on the shelf and magazines, that were more interested in promoting what was coming rather than what was already out.

Since I didn't even have a gameboy until January 2000, I never played any of the games until the following morning after hiring Red from Blockbuster Video. Until then, I got my Pokémon fix from the cards, the cartoon and the toys. I also had some brief exposure to Pokémon Snap in the form of the demo console in the department store, but never owned the game.

I was a poorfag. I ended up getting my own copy of Red later that year, but I didn't have nearly enough to buy my own when I first got the gameboy. (which was a gift from relatives overseas)

Alright, I've done a little research and I've seen things about there being two sets of primary colours:
>Red, Blue, and Yellow being the primary light colours
>Cyan, Magenta, and Pink being the primary pigment colours
I've also read stuff that says about the primary colours used in things like CRT displays being Red, Blue, and Green. In a sense, you're right, but people won't paint using the colours of a CRT display, but with the light colours and it's secondary and tertiary colours.

No it is not. Primary light is called visible light, not green light. Green isn't even on the spectrum, it represents NORMAL light.
