Well Cynthia was like an archaeologist or something, very interesting, great team and music.
Iris you see grow from a child to a champion,nice music.
Blue is your rival, Steven was... I dunno', pretty cool I guess. Wallace was a faggot, but I don't count him as him being champion is not canon anymore. And Lance was the cool dragon dude who helps you fight Team Rocket.
But then you get Diantha, who is a moviestar? Ok, well so is Brycen, Rosa and Sabrina, nothing special. And her team wasn't impressive. You expect her to have faries, but theres already a fairy gym, and then you sweep her.
At least they saved her mega for the in-game reveal. Would have been better if it wasn't leaked first, but oh well. Better than OR/AS, where they revealed literally the entire game before launch.
