And if you get "lucky" early on, you get a crit on something you were going to OHKO anyway. In pike, being lucky can cause you to skip rooms if you find lost trainers, wild pokemon rooms, or rooms with nurses. You can potentially get to silver Lucy in like 10 minutes.
Basically, you can actually reap the benefits of positive luck in Pike unlike most facilities.
