So, what pokemon did people use to beat all contests? Obvious one is cosplay pikachu. I'm looking for two more. And movesets? because im too lazy to come up on my own

Well, I've heard the castform from the Weather Institute has a good beauty stat and moveset as soon as you get it. Dunno how true that is though, since I don't have alpha sapphire yet..

From what I hear you can pretty much just use rainbow blocks to max a pokemon out and brute force your way through every contest, but that doesn't sound fun.

You actually get a special ribbon when you do that, so it actually can be kinda rewarding.

I used my breloom to massacre the clever contest, but I just now got into postgame so I'm a bit overwhelmed as to what to do next. Take on the beauty contest with milotic? Wipe the whole floor with smeargle? Who knows.

I got through all the contests with the Shiny Metagross, I wanted steven to be proud of me. Then I did it again for Trapette, the male Lopunny.

Altaria can learn a decent spread for each contest type, and all from TMs (so they're easily interchangeable). Also, it can mega evolve, which is a huge plus if you're good at getting the fifth excitement star

I guess that's why Lisia uses one

I used his actual competitive set for clever and it worked fine, and just switched around TMs for the others. The ribbon sparkle at the start of battle is so worth it.

my shiny sylveon knocked out all other competition including Lisa though a lot of it is luck and predicting what moves are going to be used

I finally realized when that gorebyss wad going to use whirlpool and that was really the reason I won that final contest

Yeah, I noticed that when I got the 5th star with the mega stone equipped, I got like 3 or 4 more hearts than when I got the 5th star with one of the scarves equipped (it was the only way I could ever manage to fill all the hearts in a single round)

Just curious, does anyone else's pokemon shake after being sent to battle? I noticed my swampert started doing it after he won a Tough master contest. Wanna make sure I'm not the only one.

Any Pokemon in the Monster egg group could probably pull off every contest due to the large movepools.

Just get a move that makes you go last and a move that startles everyone in front of you.

You need an off-condition move in case you'd give the next pokemon the last excitement star, and I like to use those moves as the beginning of a combo.

A surprising number of pokemon don't have moves that let them move last but have a lot of moves that would benefit from it. Curse you, GF, for not making Endure a TM again this Gen!

I transferred it from xy hence the kalos champion ribbon. I didn't know at the time that pokeballs passed down when you breed so I'm lucky that a great ball matches the color scheme pretty OK
