I do the same. A bad nature or IVs and I have to find reasons to not box it. Thats part of why I nuzlocke so much, I'm obliged to tough it out.

Sometimes I think I was happier before I knew how the inside workings of this game operated.

I mean with the advent of dexnav I've got much better IVs to play with but I'm not gonna worry if it's got a lousy nature or anything
once I finish the story I'll just powersave them

what's even weirder is that a. i'm fine with any nature that isn't actively harmful (my makuhita is hardy, for example) and b. i don't give a shit about evs at all, even though they make a much greater difference than ivs

and it's only my makuhita. i don't know or want to know what the ivs of the rest of my pokes are
