I, personally, am the most disappointed by lack of hoenn megas, I mean come on - everyone was expecting something like Milotic or Flygon, instead of shitmons like Audino. Especially, when an established character like Wallace, who is quite important to the story uses Milotic.

I don't know if this was caused by that one year development cycle, but still it is disappointing.

And of course throwing vsfrontierbrain into Maison, that was kinda pathetic too.

They use the same pokemon their leaders use.
Also, they don't have 3d models, so they can't battle alongside you. The only character that can but isn't an option is Zinnia.

Not quite. May 2015 is Emerald's 10 year release anniversary. DLC could be released that day, or a Delta Emerald announcement. Or Zeta Emerald with Hoenn tied into Kalos, that'd be a pretty ambitious move by Gamefreak.

I wish they would've done an Emerald remake instead of RS remakes, but ORAS are fantastic games.

There wont be any DLC, and Delta Emerald is unlike to happen, simply because Delta Episode was pretty much a dicksucking to Rayquaza. There is just no need to remake the same game twice, especially when this will be the biggest jewery they have ever done.

I honestly think it was. Noticed how Aarune gives you Garchompite after reaching platinum rank? Most people seem to think of it as rubbing salt into the wound, but I personally think it was their way of telling "here is where Flygonite was supposed to go, but we ran out if time". Kinda like the Battle Frontier references in Battle Resort hinting there will be one in the future.

No idea about Milotic though.

There may be no need, but tons of Emerald features are just gone from ORAS and you know GF would go for a Delta Emerald. I'd get a Delta Emerald if it included more megas, Frontier, more post-game shit like Sevii Islands. In regards to DLC, they only said they don't like paid DLC, maybe they'll open up to the idea come May. Not counting on it though.

Join avenue has literally been incorporated into secret bases and mixing records is the TVnav or whatever it was called and online in general.
Tropical regions are pretty much the same all year round as well so seasons make no sense unless you want hurricane season to be a thing to make the water routes worse.

Everything else is a pointless additions, the entire appeal of the PWT was nostalgia and following pokemon was utterly useless and done better by amie.

I find it odd people are "starved" for postgame when it has more than HG/SS, games that people still praise and claim has the most.
Hell the maison provides more hours than the gen 4 frontier considering it takes 210 battles to get each print while it takes 250 to get the trophies and that's not taking into account the special berries.
Kanto now lasts about as long as Episode Delta because there's simply nothing there except the leaders and that power plant sidequest that lasts 5 minutes on its own.
Maybe it's the fact that ORAS doesn't make the player wait for things like HG/SS did with rematches, the safari zone and so on.

That happened on Day One. Or the instant people realized the only hype we got for the game was to release every fucking mega. Which seems to have been the only thing anybody cared about besides Battle Frontier, and of course that wouldn't be in this. You give people one remake with bits of a special edition and people expect you to give them a handjob every time.

I told you fuckers that mega evolutions weren't interesting. I was more interested in the other features. What little I saw of BuzzNav, that I was interested in. I wanted to know about Contests. I wanted to know about HOENN, for fuck's sake. More of it in 3D. Whether we got nighttime.

They should have told us about DexNav. That would have had me hyped as fuck.

Maison requires more battles than Gen 4 frontier.
Kanto is barren as fuck and can be blown out in a short-ass time like ED.
HG/SS adds replayability in a cheap way by adding wait times
Everything else just gets improved as the game gets more gens.

i have fallen asleep three times trying to advance in this game, and i can't. i played it last night and beat my rival in the city with the department store and i just saved and quit. i think i'll start up again next week or tonight if i can get drunk enough to withstand it

Not that anon but a shorter dev time doesn't necessarily mean it was rushed especially since the just imported most models from XY instead of remaking the like they did for remakes and third games prior.

because i like playing with some acquaintances from school and they're autistic because they think if you didn't breed and raise your pokemon on your own, it's not legit.

i have a box of 6iv dittos and all the items i need, i just have trouble staying awake during the story mode that i have to beat in order to start breeding and battling online.

i do battle on simulators, recently got my roommate into showdown because he can't beat a pokemon game either since it's too boring.

Gee I wonder that myself sometimes.

Anyway all hacking does is cripple the communication aspect of the game.
No one wants to play with hackers because if I remember right there's a code to get 999 in each stat now
And no one wants to trade because they're just going to release the hack anyway essentially giving away a pokemon for free.
Sure there are people that hack in mons with the restrictions in game but there are so much more that don't just to gain cheap wins.

Plus helping people out instead of just releasing breeding rejects is pretty nice.
