After 2,552 SRs, I managed to get shiny Regigigas. This is the last shiny I was planning to get in White 2 so I'm back in Y hatching Treecko. At 14 boxes, though I know I made more boxes than that because I used treecko to complete my livedex. Might be at ~18 boxes technically.
I bred a treecko with egg moves to make it more interesting and leveled a 6iv one in the friend safari so it wouldn't lose the moves, I hunted in a Duosion+Espurr+Munna because I've been half-hunting for a shiny Espurr for a friend, and just yesterday a shiny Duosion appeared, the first friend safari shiny I ever encountered. My partner was next to me and jokingly grabbed the 3DS to catch it himself ("maybe I should run away") and like a stupid spazz I snatched it back and my thumb hit the "run away" button
I cried like a little bitch because I never lost a shiny in my life and it was even my birthday so my partner felt like shit. He doesn't play Pokemon and ended up hunting in the friend safari to get me another shiny so I have a shiny munna now after 250 encounters according to him. Hope you guys don't have bad luck like this!
