I miss x/y
I mean I love ORAS-still haven't finished it but anyways
I keep torturning my self by listening to the music from xy and I just miss it idk what it is I miss lysandre and team flare and KALOS and KORINNA and HOW EASY THE CHAMPION WAS but also How amazing the music was and does anyone else feel this way?

Like sad when they play a new pokemon game thinking about the old one

the friends are the ones i miss most of all
they're still shit, with all of that unused potential, but i like the idea of having a fun time with buddies. it gets samey when you travel everywhere yourself, even if the areas are interesting. that's why i also liked sinnoh's tag battles in eterna forest, iron island, and elsewhere.

X/Y was a steaming pile of wasted potential. Lysandre and Team Flare could have been amazing villains if they hadn't been a bunch of simpering hipsters who were constantly bitching about fashion only to suddenly go "LOL BTW WE'RE GONNA KILL EVERYONE KTHNXBYE" right at the end with no real explanation. They were just a random nuisance with no rhyme or reason. We should have been finding out what they were up to slowly instead of just being told "Whoops, we screwed up. Oh well, got what we wanted, bye!"

The band of rivals that you battle all of twice was wasted. We should have had them more frequently as partners, or battling against them, and they should have been involved in the story more. That or they shouldn't have existed at all. They had very distinct personalities, and we got to see precisely 5 seconds of it.

The gym leaders, conversely, had roughly the personality of wallpaper, and their gym buildings were just as bland. They had great designs for some of them and the potential to have some fun pre-gym missions before challenging them like most recent gens, but instead we got nothing.

The Elite 4 with one exception had awful designs, one of them was a bitch, one was a larper, the other was randomly a chef, and the champion, whom we meet twice, still doesn't recognize us, which is a shame because she had potential to show up more often and be really interesting. Instead I'm indifferent to her.

Z has a LOT of work to do if I'm going to remember gen 6 with any modicum of fondness in the future.

The problem is that people tend to compare stuff from third version of games. Also a lot of your stuff are subjective.
