It's the fact that you think the generic personality types and character design are in any way related due to horsefuckers and not, you know, because there's literally hundreds of pokemon.
Of course there's going to be some that match other shows, or rather some other shows are going to copy pokemon. In the end it's all relative because there's only so much thought that ever gets put into franchises made for children.
