So I just got my Eon Ticket through a BuzzNav update.

I threw my DS in my backpack and walked around town to run some errands. I came back and the BuzzNav said I street passed with like 77 people. Still no Eon Ticket. What am I doing wrong?

If you're Japanese/American, it should be quite common by now.

I'm very sure it isn't in Europe yet. I know my country won't get it until 10th of December at least.

OP here; I should clarify that I had gotten no physical streetpasses between my last online Buzznav update and this one, so it must have been from online. I was wondering if anyone else had gotten it this way since everone else I've seen has gotten it physically or through homepass.

Been trying Homepass for a few days now and I'm not getting jack.

No passes whatsoever. Been using the standard Pokemon Mac.

Also tried MacCycle too.

The Nintendo Zone icon appears to blink on the menu and I do successfully connect with the connection made for it. Cleared out all others too to make sure it uses that one.

Nah m8, I'm not the trolling type.
But I will say that I've been updating Buzznav at least once (usually twice) a day since release so that's what's making me think it's still unlikely, on top of not having seen anyone else claim to get it this way.

If you're smart enough to actually set up Streetpass right it's likely to happen by now.
Unfortunately the vast majority of Pokémon players are idiots who complain it'll never spread to them because they failed to set it up.

Does receiving BuzzNav updates from people in your "Passerby" listings, allow you to get the Eon Ticket if they have it/if you have it - to share it?

idk if that makes sense, but I have the Eon Ticket and I live in the middle of a hick mountain town, where I am sure nobody but me knows what Pokemon is.

No, spotpass (internet connection, passerby, anything online) doesn't give to you.
Only streetpass (ad-hoc play, nearby people, etc)
I just went to buy some electronics to the downtown and I got it. I only have 3 badges.

I think you're getting passes from people with 3dses walking by your place. There are a few houses on my way home from work that I always get streetpasses from when I walk home

I've been taking a detour to a highschool and elementary school on my way home from work to collect them delicious street passes, but I've yet to land an eon ticket. Might drop by a community college or two and see how I fare there
